Garbage Service
Garbage pick up is provided by the City of Grand Prairie twice per week.
Starting October 2, 2023, recycling collection will be on Wednesdays.
Use any color plastic bag for garbage except blue or red; blue bags are used for recyclables only and will not be collected if they contain trash. Do not put garbage in trash cans or any container except plastic bags. Containers will be taken with garbage. For recycling collection either used an 18- gallon recycling bin or blue bags.
All garbage must be set out by 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day. However due varmints, loose animals and other wildlife, please refrain from putting garbage or other trash items out the night before collection. This will ensure that these animals are not otherwise enticed into your yard and will aid in the overall cleanliness of our community.

Brush/Yard Waste/Bulky Items
Tree limbs and brush must be less than 6 feet in length, bundled in no more than 50 pound bundles and placed next -to your household garbage. Bagged leaves and shrubs will be collected with household garbage but not grass clippings. The City of Grand Prairie also operates a Large Brush Pickup Program year round on a rotation basis from north to south week by week and provides curbside pickup of brush that is not practical or eligible for collection by the city’s weekly garbage collection. Residents receive on free brush pickup each month up to 5 cubic yards.

Making Changes to Your Lot or Dwelling
In accordance with Article V, Section 5.0 of the Bylaws of Lynn Creek Hills Homeowners Association, “no structure shall be commenced, erected, placed moved onto or permitted to remain on any Lot, nor shall any existing Structure upon any Lot be altered in any way which materially changes the exterior appearance of the Structure or Lot “ prior to the approval of plans and specifications by the ACC.
The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is provided by Article V of the Bylaws of Lynn Creek Hills Homeowners Association. The ACC assures that any installation, construction, or alteration of any Structure on any Lot:
- Conforms and is harmonious in external design and general quality with the existing standards of the Development and Design Standards
- Is properly located with respect to topography, finished ground elevation and surrounding structures.
Submissions to the ACC should include a site plan showing:
- location of all proposed and existing Structures on the lot
- exterior elevations of all proposed Structures and alterations to existing structures as they will appear after backfilling and landscaping are completed
- Details on materials, color scheme, lighting, and other details affecting the exterior appearance of all proposed Structures and alterations to existing Structures.

HOA Assessment
Lynn Creek Hills currently has a yearly assessment of $275.00. It has remained the same since the community was founded.
Your HOA assessment goes to fund the operation of the HOA, maintain the landscaping, fountains and overall beautification of the community. It also funds all HOA sponsored activities such as National Night Out, Yard of the Month, and other homeowner contests. New proposed improvements and projects to common areas such as playgrounds and pavilions will also be funded by assessments.
